Scientific Committee for Practice
Committee Purpose: The Scientific Committee for Practice is commissioned by the UAE Nursing and Midwifery Council to set unified standards for nursing and midwifery practice and to be its authoritative voice for concerns related to practice. The Committee is responsible for setting strategic directions for the advancement of nursing and midwifery practice, aligned to international, national and regional standards and collaborates with relevant stakeholders to implement those strategies.
Committee Membership: The Committee is comprised of representatives from all relevant stakeholders.
Committee Documents: The Committee is responsible for developing scopes of practice, standards for practice and practice environments, and professional code of conduct.
Committee Activities: The Committee meets on a regular basis to conduct its business.
