Committee Purpose:   The Scientific Committee for Registration and Licensure  is commissioned by the UAE Nursing and Midwifery Council to set unified standards for nursing and midwifery registration and licensure  and to be its authoritative voice in this area.  The Committee is responsible for setting standards  aligned to international, national and regional standards and collaborates with relevant stakeholders to implement those strategies.

Committee Membership:  The Committee is comprised of representatives from  all relevant stakeholders.  

Committee Documents:  The Committee is responsible for developing standards and guidelines that serve as the foundation for nursing and midwifery registration and licensure.  

Committee Activities:  The Committee meets on a regular basis to conduct its business.
